Welcome to Scott Verbeek Music
Here at Scott Verbeek Music, there is much excitement in making the transition from a student of music to a full-time professional working musician.
Artist
Scott is proficient in and loves many styles of music. He started off his career playing rock, funk and blues. During his time at Berklee College of Music, Scott discovered jazz and began to seriously study the genre. At Berklee he played in Phil Wilson’s (Frank Sinatra) Rainbow Band, and studied with Mick Goodrick, Dave Fiuczynski (Hiromi Uehara), Hal Crook, Tia Fuller (Beyonce), Dave Tronzo, Tim Miller, Ed Tomassi and many others. During his time in Boston, Scott founded two different groups, the Scott Verbeek Sound Machine, and Scott Verbeek Trio.
